You’ll be able to access maps of Neo Plaza and the Luxury District, with which you can easily teleport to different MVFW locations with just a click. What Brands Participated In Decentraland Fashion Week 2023?
This year, MVFW brought together tradition and innovation. Top fashion brands such as Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, and jeweler Ben Bridges participated in the fashion shows. According to the report, the most visited brand during MVFW23 was Adidas Lounge. They hosted a daily giveaway of their cool streetwear wearables called the Adidas DCL Wallrunner. This DCL Wallrunner was the second ‘most claimed wearable’ in the event.
Tommy Hilfiger became the ‘most claimed free wearable’ during MVFW23 with their AI puffer. Decentraland said that visitors were able to claim the free wearable after completing some challenges inside the brand’s TM monolith towering over the luxury district. There was a giant tabby bag built by Coach. This tabby bag pulls visitors who walk under it inside a pink tornado, and once inside, instead of four pink walls, the attendees would find themselves transported to a giant orb-shaped world with different levels, each populated with different NPCs, and when the attendee completes a challenging task, they can claim a free emote and pink tabby swirl wearable. There were other exciting and new things introduced, like Alastair White’s groundbreaking fashion opera and Alo’s morning yoga session.
Gigi Graziosi Casimiro, Head of MVFW23, said that this year’s fashion week showed what is possible for digital fashion and interoperability in the metaverse.
“Metaverse Fashion Week 2023 pushed the envelope of what is possible for digital fashion and interoperability in the metaverse. For the first time, we witnessed real cooperation between fashion brands and the community, which resulted in incredible feedback from participating brands,” She said.
MVFW23 witnessed interoperability; portals to other worlds could be found throughout the event. Adidas and Tommy Hilfiger created experiences that crossed other platforms; they created a wearable that could be used in other metaverses. The event was held in many virtual worlds, with metaverse partners being Spatial and OVER platforms, the reports said.
