Introduction
The development of the metaverse has become a key component of modern technology. Metaverse is currently one of the hottest buzzwords in today’s Techworld after NFTs. Most analysts had argued that the metaverse industry development will become viable over the next decade given the limitations of today’s tech relative to the ideas of this virtual world. But most companies are not waiting for that development to happen before setting up a body that will ensure the industry will not be abused. Although most critics have accused them of trying to monopolize the Metaverse, they are poised to see that the metaverse potential is not Abused- At least, according to their Manifesto.
The XRA
XR association is a consortium of tech companies responsible for the “development and adoption of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality.”
XRA is concerned about the possible abuses of XR-related tech, and with the ideas of the metaverse spreading, they are working to be the leading organization to help regulate the emerging industry.

Most members of the XR association have either announced a metaverse move or are already building a metaverse project. Since the key component or idea of the metaverse involves interoperability it will be beneficial to create a network to help facilitate that feature.
In October 2021, Facebook, one of the leading members of the XR association, announced it has changed its name to Meta to focus on building the metaverse. After the announcement, other companies followed by declaring their interest in building the future of reality.

Meta, formerly Facebook, is one of the leading members of the XRA. The social media giant is now dedicating its resources to see that the company leads the metaverse. Meta has been developing both software and tools and games for the metaverse through their company Oculus.
Google, is one of the biggest search engine networks in the world and one of the founders of XR Association. It offers services such as a search engine, ( Google search), Google docs, Google sheets, and Google slides. Email ( Gmail), instant messaging and video chat (Google duo, Google chat, and Google meet ) language translator ( Google translate ) video sharing ( Youtube ) mapping and navigation ( Google maps, Waze, Google Earth, and street view ).
HTC VIVE
HTC VIVE is a new name for HTC corporation that manufactures headset, games and etc. with the metaverse life, it produces virtual reality headset used in playing the game that helps to control your movement around the room.
Microsoft
Microsoft is a multinational technology corporation that produces computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services. On January 18, 2022, Microsoft announced the acquisition of American video game developer and holding company Activision Blizzard, the acquisition was to benefit their business in the metaverse.
Sony Interactive Entertainment
Sony Interactive Entertainment, formerly Sony Computer Entertainment is a multinational video game and digital entertainment company that deals in the development, production, and sales of both hardware and software for the PlayStation video game systems.

Unity is a cross-platform game engine developed by unity technologies.
