Ubisoft Partners with XPLA network As A Validator

Ubisoft, the developer of popular video games like Assassin’s Creed and Just Dance, has formally joined a strategic collaboration with the XPLA network and has also taken on the position of a node validator.

Ubisoft and XPLA Network to Work Together

The partnership was disclosed on XPLA’s Medium page on X. With its Strategic Innovation Lab, it aims to solidify Ubisoft’s forward position on blockchain technology and go a step closer to integrating the gaming and blockchain domains.

However, the announcement states that Ubisoft will use its wealth of experience in game development to join the XPLA ecosystem and use it to guarantee that the network’s data and transactions are efficiently and securely certified.

As per the release, Ubisoft intends to integrate into the XPLA ecosystem and utilise its vast experience in game production to guarantee the secure and effective validation of the network’s transactions and data.

Also, this collaboration has the potential to improve the XPLA ecosystem, which is renowned for its commitment to becoming a preeminent hub for gaming and digital media. 

“The alliance represents a pivotal advancement in fortifying the XPLA network and expanding the #Web3 #gaming sector.”

 the report stated.

The Walking Dead and Summoners War are two of the most played cryptocurrency games on the network, which is driven by the Tendermint blockchain engine and its Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BFT) consensus. 

As a result of Ubisoft’s involvement in the validation space and its partnerships with other prominent developers and validators like Animoca Brands, Google Cloud, and Com2uS, the network should see improvements in performance, security, and transparency.

According to the release, Ubisoft is demonstrating a deeper commitment to the network’s future by contributing to governance proposal decisions in addition to its current role. 

The XPLA team head, Paul Kim, stated his excitement about Ubisoft’s involvement and looked forward to a time when their cooperation will lead to the development of a more open, reliable web3 ecosystem that will appeal to players of all stripes.

“Together, we will cooperate to create a more transparent and trustworthy Web3 ecosystem, striving to provide an attractive gaming experience to players worldwide”.

Kim said.

In addition, Ubisoft is also actively running validators on networks like Tezos and Hedera, showcasing its ambition to lead in the convergence of gaming and blockchain technology.
