Polygon DAO Introduces Village Wonders
Polygon DAO, yesterday introduced the “Village Wonders” accelerator program. The three-month pre-acceleration cohort initiates many opportunities for Web3 projects building on Polygon.
According to the press release, there will be a Demo day, mentorship, and office hours with polygon core teams and industry experts. They will discuss ecosystem-wide product and technology developments.

There will be ecosystem connections. Recognition, marketing, and community-building support for interacting with peers and the polygon ecosystem according to the announcement.
The cohort will have the opportunity to partner with polygon village. They will have up to $70,000 in vouchers from Tier-1 partners for development, and audit according to the report.
According to the Polygon DAO press release. the initiative will provide many opportunities for “web3 projects building on polygon”.
“Polygon DAO is excited to announce the launch of village wonders, a first-of-its-kind initiative that will provide dedicated expansion strategy, mentorship, and funding opportunities to Web3 projects building on Polygon.”
The projects
The Programme will begin on Sept.1 according to the press release. It will start with a demo day scheduled for the first week of December and Aug.12 as the deadline for submission.
The 12 selected projects for the cohort are across the Metaverse, Sustainability, Defi, NFT/gaming, DAO/tooling, infrastructure, and public utility.
