Crypto Perfume
The launch is aimed at increasing female participation in the blockchain and Web3 sectors while celebrating International Women’s Day this Friday.
According to the report, initial high-end ads teasing the CRYPTO scent challenged preconceived notions about cryptocurrencies and aroused intrigue. In a recent video, Binance said that it has now intensified its efforts with a pop-up kiosk in a mall.
Rachel Conlan, Binance’s Chief Marketing Officer, said that CRYPTO conveys fragrance beyond scent.
“Bold, distinctive, and deliberately disruptive, CRYPTO isn’t a scent we’re marketing, it’s a message to women that they have a significant role to play in the crypto revolution,”
said Conlan.
According to her, it is a scent designed to inspire women to overcome obstacles and participate in the digital economy.
“We’re here to tell women everywhere: Don’t be a bystander. Break those glass ceilings, challenge existing narratives and become part of this digital transformation that’s set to redefine global finance,”
added Conlan.
Binance Academy
Binance Academy offers an introductory crypto course and gives $25 in USDT token coupons to the 5,000 women. In addition, to grow women’s influence in cryptocurrency, the firm intends to organize local gatherings and run social media ads.
According to GWI’s Digital 2024 Global Overview Report, in the cryptocurrency sector, gender inequality has long been a matter of controversy. In comparison to men, women are still underrepresented in cryptocurrency investments.
“Crypto is universal — it’s about empowering all individuals. It’s time to ensure no woman is left behind in this financial revolution,”
emphasized Conlan.
