Binance CEO, Chanpeng Zhao, met with the president of Senegal, Mackay Sall, and their central bank. He also met the Ivory Coast president, Alassane Dramane Ouattara in their countries to talk to them about Africa adopting Crypto.
In the meeting, they discussed the economic, financial, and regulatory implications of access to crypto in Africa.
Mr. Alassane Dramane Ouattara, President of Ivory Coast, said during his meeting with CZ, that they discussed the economic, financial, and regulatory implications of access to crypto in Cote d’Ivoire.

CZ said he aims to introduce crypto to the whole world, while taking the initiative, implying that Africa needs to be included in the Global financial market.

Binance gifts Senegal president a BNB challenger coin
CZ tweeted on Wednesday, about the meeting in Senegal but didn’t give details, including details of the officials from the Central Bank that attended the meeting.
After the meeting, CZ said he received a painting gift from the president of Senegal, who is the current Chairperson for the African Union, and he reciprocated the gesture by giving him a BNB Challenger coin which he said was of “much lower value”.

Binance has been given regulatory approval by many countries including El Salvador, Central Africa Republic, and Kazakhstan.
Last week, Binance signed the famous Tiktikor Khaby lame as their New Global Brand Ambassador.
