zkLink’s zkLink Nova
zkLink Nova gives developers a decentralized application (dApp) deployment environment that is compatible with the Ethereum virtual machine (EVM) by combining liquidity and assets from both Ethereum and Layer 2 rollups into a single, interoperable platform.
Due to limited development and liquidity in the past, Layer 2 ecosystems, which were managed by multiple developers, did not realize their full potential for expansion.
However, zkLink Nova tackles the three main obstacles that have hindered the growth of the Ethereum ecosystem:
- The dispersion of liquidity among Layer 2 blockchains.
- The intricacies involved in developing decentralized applications across multiple chains.
- The unsatisfactory user experience resulting from the segregation of assets and applications between chains.

According to the report, zkLink Nova eliminates the need to bridge assets between chains with its innovative “Aggregated Layer 3” design by utilizing zero-knowledge proofs to obtain aggregated liquidity from Layer 2 and Ethereum networks. The deployment of apps onto zkLink Nova allows developers to access an environment that is compatible with EVMs.
Meanwhile, zkLink Nova launch is a huge milestone for the zkLink community and the Ethereum ecosystem as well, said Vince Yang, CEO and founder.
zkLink Nova will be launched on March 8 2024 and will initially interface with popular Ethereum Layer 2s such as zkSync, Linea, Arbitrum, Manta, Mantle and others.
