Yuga Labs has confirmed the launch of its metaverse “Otherside,” which will be released to the public on Saturday, April 30 at 12 PM ET.
The announcement was made via the company’s official Twitter page.

Last month, Yuga Labs revealed a video teaser hinting at the Otherside project that has intrigued the NFT world.
According to the team, Otherside will be an open-ended RPG that is compatible with all types of NFTs.
Leaked slides from the BAYC metaverse also show that about 200,000 plots of virtual land in the Otherside will be for sale. Each having its own set of unique features such as natural resources, relics, and rare characters.
“Otherside” has already gained so much popularity that its Discord group has reached over 100,000 members. Although some users have complained that they cannot join the group.
Debatable speculation for the future also indicates that the demand and price of ApeCoin are also expected to rise if the team decides to make ApeCoin the only payment system that can be used to purchase land in the metaverse.
In addition, users expect that the Otherside Meta project will form a purchasable plan for its virtual land with the native ecosystem currency BAYC – APE.
This development reflects the popular concept of purchasing virtual real estate, which is represented by NFTs. Decentraland and Sandbox metaverses also have such features.
There is currently no official website for the Otherside, and more information is due to be released soon.
